Plot & Setting
The year is 2035.
Leading the blind is a futuristic, urban roleplay set in the unrestful Walden Imperium. In the future, advertisement has become completely personalized and controls each customer subjectively through targeted marketing techniques. Among some, the constant exposure to marketing stimulation and the resulting cognitive overload have caused deadly neurological dysfunctions that mimic schizophrenia, PTSD, and other disorders. However, for those that survive the symptoms these diseases may have benefits. Some have developed almost-supernatural mental abilities, but their afflictions remain regarded as illnesses. As of now, no cure has been discovered yet, nor does the government seem to want a remedy. People are suffering and being manipulated by companies for profit, inciting dissatisfaction among the public. Rumors are spreading regarding the corruption of politics and encourage the revolt against the enforced massive consumerism. Everything is done and open for members ;)
August 4 - Just minor stuff is being done, overall, we're finished! August 1 - ALMOST FINISHED *gasp* July 25 - Major site updates in progress. The whole website is being revamped to reopen the RP! In addition, the plot and story have been changed in several aspects to create a more interesting story!
